The needs of local communities are far too great for any one organization to manage. Mercy Support Services offers a platform for organizations, churches and human service agencies to come together to improve awareness of and communication with each other. This collaboration avoids duplication of services, allows for the sharing of resources, and prevents abuse of the system.
The partnership formed between Mercy Support Services and these partners has brought about services that were previously missing in Clay County. Mercy Support Services now has supportive group residences for displaced families as well as a centralized clearing house where people in crisis are screened, qualified and case managed until they are self-sufficient.
